The Las Vegas Baseball Academy's Summer Instructional League has shown some record attendance so far this season, with the league seeing a number just short of 100 players. After the evaluations, the coaching staff was amazed at the success that these players have already shown, and the advancement that has been seen after just the beginning of week two, with Division Two still having their second showing this evening.

The evaluations brought out a packed house to the field to watch these boys and girls show off their skills, and prepare for what is to come the remainder of this season. It was very exciting for the staff to see all these kids out there performing the way they did, and it was especially notable on the improvement of the players that have attended this SIL program in the past. As the first week of practice and game action is coming to a close, the improvement in just this short amount of time has been hard to miss. The players are showing an unbelievable ability to learn and implement the communications that the staff has been urging them to use, as well as the very basic skills we are able to teach in this first week, such as, hitting set-up and movements, catch play, base running, and in-game movements.

LVBA and its staff are looking forward to seeing the improvements and success continue into week three, and we certainly hope these players are too. This is where the skills they are learning are really about to show!
