The 4th Annual LVBA Dad's Day Practice ended yesterday in great success, meaning that nobody got hurt or collapsed. These parents all did a fantastic job in learning about what their kids go through on a daily basis, and really made every one of their kids look like future big league all-stars with some of the performances on the diamond on Sunday. Without a doubt, these parents showed why they are FORMER athletes. Thank you to all of them for their resounding commitment and effort to the program and this event, which is what makes it all so special. And a special shoutout goes to Cindy Sideco (9u), who decided to try to get some Batting Practice training in, and in the process landed on the DL for the next 6 months. We hope to see you back out there next season, but maybe lets skip the BP session.

Lastly, a big congratulations goes out to all of the Dad's Day award winners:

MVP: Carlos Lueck (8u) and Karissa Kavanagh (9u)

King of Swat: Jeff Lyons (12u) and Hope Andreas (8u and 10u)

Cy Young: Todd Winchell (8u) and Dolly Amby (9u)

Gold Glove: Mario Medeles (8u) and Angel Cisneros (9u)

Best Dressed: Don and Melissa Sutton (10u)

Worst Dressed: Steve Teffs (9u and I think he learned his lesson)

No Chance for a Big League Contract: Phil Page (9u) and Val Ruiz (10u)
