The 2nd LVBA Coaches Clinic proved to, once again, be a great success in helping the local coaches learn new drills and techniques in all facets of the game. From the 7u coaches to the 14u coaches, from the Little League coaches to the club baseball coaches, and even the parents just looking to better their knowledge and add drills to their pantries, everybody left with drills and ideas to better improve any player they come across. The LVBA staff always enjoys this part of the job, because the Baseball Academy is much more than training players that attend our teams and clinics; it is also about training and informing the people that help the players who do not attend LVBA. Baseball in Las Vegas is on the rise, and we are all here to do one job together. If any coach in attendance has ANY questions, comments, or just wants to talk to gain more information, feel free to contact Mike Martin and he will happily connect you with the coach you're seeking to talk to.

A big "Thank You" goes out to the coaching staff in attendance, including guest instructor Mike Hubel, head baseball coach at Cimarron Memorial High School, as well as the Lightning players that were in attendance assisting in the drills and practice.

Another special "Thank You" goes out to Shelley Sampson for taking pictures and assisting in the event to help the coaching staff focus on the field. Thank you Shelley!

We hope to once again see this clinic double in size when the 3rd LVBA Coaches Clinic rolls around in 2017, as this is proving to be a great way to bring the coaches in the community together to focus on the one common goal that we all have.
