After struggling for much of the Fall with a lot of close losses, the 13U team put together an outstanding weekend of baseball to finish 2nd in the Veteran’s Day Tournament.  After going 1-1 on Day 1, the team delivered an offensive explosion on Sunday scoring double digits in both games ending in run rule victories.  The TEAM came back on Sunday and won an exciting game over the Vegas Wolfpack in the semifinals.  The TEAM fell short in the championship losing 8-6, but exhibited great fight after being down for much of the game, and had the tying run on 2nd base in the 6th inning.  I am extremely proud of the fight the boys showed as EVERY player delivered significant contributions over the weekend.
