Every Spring, LVBA holds a day of fun and fundraising during the annual Hit-A-Thon and BBQ.  Lightning players receive pledges from friends and family to raise funds for their player expenses. They are given 10 swings to see how far they can hit the ball. Pledges are then calculated based on the distance hit.

Following the Hit-A-Thon there is an Organizational BBQ where families spend the afternoon eating good food and having great conversation!
